It is widely known that Stacey Dash is an advocate for all things Republican. She is known to be Republican in the same way as those anti-minority/anti-feminist/anti-gay/anti-poor Republicans are, in spite of the fact that she is herself, a minority woman. Dash is infamous for holding some of the most extreme of right-wing political views as well as for being a diva on set when working her primary field as an actress. Many actors/actresses have complained publicly about their disdain for working with Dash because of her "nasty attitude". It also appears that Dash doesn't seem to have issues working with anything but Black actors/actresses. There does not appear to be many, if any, complaints lodged against her from people of other races who have worked with her, so this appears to be an issue with how she interacts with Blacks only.

Dash does not have a known history of dating minority men (with the exception of her first child's father) nor befriending minority women. Her preference would appear to be white males for mating and white females for friendship. Dash does not completely ignore her blackness and nor does she appear to embrace it. Like many bi-racial women, particularly those who are as beautiful as she is, she seems to have identity issues related to race. This is understandable, to me at least. To be a universally beautiful woman can present its own unique set of challenges when you consider that such a person might be tugged at from all sides because everyone wants to claim her - even when she's not sure for herself where she fits in. Then there is beauty's curse that all beautiful people experience within their culture/community, mainly from those of the same sex. Beauty's curse is the hatred and envy your counterparts feel towards you when you are perceived as a competitor for attention - a competitor with natural advantages that can't be overcome by others. Beautiful white, Back, Asian, Latina, Indian and other girls/boys all experience the curse withing their own communities but when you are a universally attractive woman, like Stacey Dash or Halle Berry, you have to experience it from the world community. That's a bitch to even think about. Dash also has suffered from her own self-esteem issues as well as feelings of inadequacy and doubts about her own beauty and worth. This too is a common issue for women of uncommon beauty - they need constant reassuring that they are truly loved because everyone acts as though they love them when really they're only infatuated with their beauty. This breeds insecurities that can torment them and they have done so for Dash.

Further complicating her psyche is the absence of her black father who turns out to be a drug addict who dies from his addiction. On an unconscious level, though she might have loved her father, she probably deemed him as not very trust worthy, and he becomes the unconscious hurdle that any black man interested in her, has to overcome. Ironically, it is perhaps only the love of a "good" black man that can bring Dash to overcome many of her own identity and insecurity issues. Apart from my bootleg psycho-analysis of this woman - there are other things going on with her as well. She seems to have retired/semi-retired from acting (she was never a good actress - just a beautiful one) for a position as one of the talking heads on Fox Cable News. I personally feel that this was a very smart move on Fox's behalf because she is a staunch supporter of their views, she's famous with a following and she has the beauty to draw in viewers and captivate an audience. I think she has probably found her calling in broadcasting. I personally think that beauty serves a purpose in this world and that people with the gift of a certain kind of beauty should be in front of some one's camera doing something or the other. The sad fact is that I, like many a man in this country are more prone to want to know what's going on in the world when that information is being uttered from the lips of a beautiful woman. I have hung on many of Sharon Reed's, Richelle Carey's, Tamron Hall's and other beautiful female broadcaster's words and I don't have a problem with that. So, do what you do, Dash.

What exactly does Dash do for Fox News exactly - besides the obvious stuff I've already pointed out? What I think she is intended to do is to lend value to valueless opinions and positions by either siding with or standing out of the way of erroneous racial rhetoric spewed out before her. She becomes the minority "stamp of approval" on bull shit, essentially. It's one thing for a white person, a white man particularly, to make denigrating comments about a community that they have historically hated, abused and attempted to do away with but it's something else all together when this double minority Black-and-Latina woman makes, concurs with or does not find an issue with those same statements. I have no doubt that Dash believes in the the Republican ideals, which for me as with many black people, isn't an issue. Dash however veers off onto the right shoulder of the Republican lane to appease, fit in with and be accepted by her right-winged group of friends. She's like that stereotypical black girl who's behavior, style and even speech is more white-bread than the whitest white girl because she wants there to be no doubt whose team she's on and no doubt that she is fully and thoroughly one of them - not even partly one of the others. So Dash goes over the top to show her loyalty and fervent acceptance of everything Republican and by extension - white. What we know about the so-called "Big Tent" is that there's nothing particularly "big" about it. The elephant in the room takes up the room - thus you're either the elephant, the Babylonian whore it grants a ride until it tires of it or an idiot beneath it pretending to be the elephant but is actually elephant dung about to be walked over. Dash is the dung - elevated to free riding whore status for now. So long as she's willing to be the obedient girl - staining and slandering her people, she can ride for a while but she too will eventually be tossed aside and trampled over if not eaten.

If she were smart, she'd go back to modeling. Even at her age she's still more appealing than many women twice as young. Just check out the gallery below and you will be a believer (click on the pictures to see them in full size).
